Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
KeepUp is operated by LOONMIGHT LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17350938 (“Loonmight,” “we,” “us”).
Contact: support@loonmight.com
Website: www.loonmight.com · Product: KeepUp
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the KeepUp iOS application and when you contact us for support.
KeepUp is a football (soccer) alarm clock. When an alarm sounds, you may complete a keepy-uppy challenge using the device camera so the alarm can silence.
KeepUp does not require user accounts. We do not ask you to create a username or password.
3. Information we process
3.1 Camera images
- With your permission, KeepUp uses the device camera to capture images during an active challenge.
- Those images are sent securely to our cloud infrastructure and analysed by a third-party artificial intelligence service to return a Pass or Fail result.
- KeepUp does not keep a gallery or archive of challenge images after the Pass/Fail decision has been made.
- Third-party processors may handle images transiently in order to provide that analysis, subject to their own terms and infrastructure.
3.2 Subscriptions and purchases
- Subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple is the merchant of record.
- We receive subscription status information needed to unlock the app (for example, whether a subscription is active). We do not receive your full payment card number.
- You manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
3.3 Support communications
If you email us, we process the content of your message and your email address in order to respond. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed for your request.
3.4 Device permissions
Camera access is requested so the challenge can run. You may revoke permission in iOS Settings. Without camera access, the challenge cannot function as designed.
3.5 What we do not do
- We do not operate user account profiles or a social graph.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use third-party advertising networks or cross-app advertising tracking in KeepUp.
- We do not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, or health data.
4. Artificial intelligence and infrastructure
To determine whether a keep-up challenge passes, camera images leave your device and are processed by our cloud provider and a third-party AI vision service solely to deliver the challenge feature. We design the flow so KeepUp does not retain those images after the challenge decision.
Please consult those providers’ privacy documentation for details of their processing roles.
5. Purposes
- App functionality — operate alarms, evaluate challenges, silence on Pass, and enforce subscription access.
- Reliability and safety — support fail-safe behaviour when the camera or network analysis is unavailable.
- Customer support — respond to messages sent to our support email.
- Legal compliance — meet applicable UK, EU, and App Store requirements.
6. Legal bases
Where UK GDPR or the GDPR applies, we rely on:
- Contract — processing needed to provide the service you request.
- Legitimate interests — securing the service, preventing abuse, and maintaining reliability, where these do not override your rights.
- Consent — where required for device permissions such as camera access.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
7. Retention
- Challenge images: not retained by KeepUp after Pass/Fail processing.
- Support emails: kept as long as needed to resolve your request and for ordinary business records.
- Subscription status: reflected through Apple systems while you use the app; we do not store card data.
8. Sharing
We share information only as needed with:
- Apple, for In-App Purchases and platform services;
- our cloud and AI providers, for challenge processing as described above;
- professional advisers or authorities when legally required.
We do not sell your personal information.
9. International transfers
Our infrastructure and AI providers may process data in countries outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).
10. Security
We transmit challenge data over encrypted connections and restrict server credentials to authorised systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS up to date.
11. Children’s privacy
KeepUp is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can delete it where applicable.
12. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
Because KeepUp does not use accounts and does not retain challenge images, some requests may be limited to support correspondence we hold. Email support@loonmight.com.
13. App Store privacy labels
Apple’s App Store privacy labels summarise data practices and should be read together with this Policy.
14. Safety
KeepUp is a productivity and alarm experience. Use the camera challenge in a safe space. The app includes a fail-safe so you can silence an alarm if the challenge cannot be completed. Do not use KeepUp as your sole alarm where missing an alert could cause harm (for example, as a medical or safety-critical alert).
15. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may also be noted in the App Store listing or in the app where appropriate.
